Our story
Centro Láser Cali was founded over 20 years ago with a clear idea: bring to Cali the laser technology that was previously only available at major international centers.
Founded by Dr. Fernando Motta Mafla, the clinic was a pioneer in southwestern Colombia in incorporating advanced medical laser platforms for skin treatment. What started as a specialized practice grew into the most comprehensive laser treatment center in the region.
Today our technology lineup includes platforms like the Alma Hybrid, Soprano Ice Platinum, Fraxel, and Pixel CO₂ — equipment that allows us to offer treatments available in Cali only at our clinic.
But technology is only half the story. The other half is the team that operates it: physicians, dermatologists, and professionals with specialized training who understand that every skin is different and every treatment should be too.

Dr. Fernando Motta Mafla
Dr. Fernando Motta Mafla is a physician and surgeon, graduated from Universidad del Valle. He holds advanced training in Laser Medicine, Anti-aging and Longevity from the University of Barcelona, consolidating an integrated medical approach focused on health, regeneration, and long-term well-being.
He complemented his training with studies in Sports Medicine at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, integrating exercise, physical performance, and the physiology of aging as foundational pillars of integrated health. He later deepened his expertise in Functional Medicine through the Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud and the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM), strengthening a clinical vision focused on prevention, metabolic optimization, and addressing root causes of disease.
He also completed studies in Executive Management at Universidad de los Andes, complementing his medical profile with strategic tools for leadership, direction, and healthcare business development.
With more than 20 years of experience dedicated exclusively to aesthetic laser medicine, Dr. Fernando Motta Mafla is one of the most experienced professionals in laser skin treatments in southwestern Colombia. As founder and general director of Centro Láser Cali, he has led the development of a medical practice focused on cutting-edge technology, clinical safety, and high-complexity treatments in aesthetic and regenerative medicine.

Member of the Colombian and Brazilian Societies of Plastic Surgery and the Brazilian Academy of LASER. Extensive experience in plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine, and laser procedures.
Dr. Hugo Rodríguez
Specialist physician in clinical dermatology, with experience in the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases, trichology, nail pathology, and aesthetic medicine. Her practice focuses on comprehensive dermatological care, clinical procedures, and treatments aimed at skin health, care, and rejuvenation.
Dra. María Paula Rodríguez Ovalle
Physician graduated from Universidad ICESI in Cali, with training in functional, aesthetic and anti-aging medicine. His approach starts from a simple conviction: outer beauty and inner health are not separate — they reinforce each other. That's why every patient receives more than a treatment: a plan designed from their biology, their history and their goals. At Centro Láser Cali he performs comprehensive assessments that combine aesthetic diagnosis with a functional and longevity perspective — because looking good and living well are not separate things.
